Mac OS Compatible Codecs




Ensure you change your server to the Speex codec to enable Mac users to use voice on your Ventrilo server.

To change this setting, follow these steps:

  1. login to the control panel at http://www.ziruxgaming.com/order/vpanel.php
  2. Click Voice Servers
  3. Click Ventrilo Server Configuration
  4. Change Voice Codec to Speex
  5. Click Save
  6. Restart your server
Once the server is restarted, your Mac users will have no problems using voice on your server.
